A classic combination. Mint choc chip ice cream, after dinner minty dark chocolates, a super retro pairing. We have put together our finest peppermint leaves and added yummy chocolate pieces to deliver a slightly indulgent drink with 3 calories per cup.

Louise Says

how does it taste?

Like a dark chocolate mint, that you'd have after 8pm. Slightly retro.

good if you're feeling

Nostalic - bring back the 80's (or was it 70's?).

How we like it

Best drunk as it is. No need to add anything.

Brew Time

  • tea temple - 1 per person. Infuse in boiling water. Brew for 3+ minutes.

Whole leaves take a little longer to brew, but the little wait is definitely worth it.

Surprise Favorite!

“I added this to my sampler pack on a whim, just thinking I wanted to try as many teas as possible and was very pleasantly surprised! I love peppermint tea, and this had a similar flavor with a little bit of sweetness. I honestly couldn't believe how much I ended up loving this! I recommend!”

“I got this tea in a sampler, and I am so disappointed that I drank it first because I just want more! It's a brilliant taste with just enough tea, peppermint, and chocolate.

I had it without milk the first time and with milk the second. Try it and see what suits you! A+ tea!!”

Sort of weird.

“First bag was a disaster. Brewed exactly according to instruction and it tasted like murky, muddy water. Ew. Put the tea bag back in, thinking it just needed longer brewing but still not good. So decided to try again, made the water way hotter, and let it brew for 8 minutes. Better, but still weird. It's like taking unsweetened cheap cacao powder and adding it to hot water with some weak mint tea.

Definitely a disappointment, because I LOVE the peppermint tea. I'm not sure if this is a new flavor, since there are no other reviews on this... but I honestly can't recommend it, especially since teapigs bags are on the pricier side. Milk and sugar didn't improve the flavor either, unfortunately. Brilliant concept, just one that needs more tweaking.”
